The Storyteller by Dave Grohl 📚 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love books that build an appreciation for something that you always took for granted. This is one of those books. Written and narrated by Dave Grohl, it covers his time as Nirvana’s drummer and his founding of Foo Fighters as a one-man band. It’s excellent.
After reading it, I have a much stronger appreciation for drumming and what it adds to the songs we hear every day. This book led me to discover these Drumeo YouTube videos where professional drummers hear songs for the first time and create drum parts on the spot, sometimes after just one listen. Highly recommend both.
